Tooled Leather
Pressure and heat are used to emboss the carving leather and suede leather of Levy's classic tooled leather guitar straps, creating designs to rival the work of a master saddle-carver's hand. The natural oils of carving leather and the nap of suede leather cause the surface to change in color-shade and texture as varying levels of pressure and heat are applied, giving the tooling design a subtle contrast.
